This is your opportunity to see a special collection of greatest hits from the entire 8th ViewFinders International Film Festival for Youth! Welcome to Best of the Fest. A gingerly chosen cross-section of documentary, live-action, and animated short films featured in our VF School Program over the past week suitable for youth and adults alike.

We’ve included Bob Sabiston’s (Waking Life) The Even More Fun Trip, crowd pleaser Made in Queens as well as the visually captivating Danish short We Who Stayed Behind where a small band of children are left to restore hope to the world.

Best of the Fest Closing Gala ceremony will kick off with the VF Youth Jury Awards Presentation, followed by a screening of their picks for Best Animated, and Best Live-Action Short Film.
