ViewFinders and the Atlantic Filmmakers Cooperative are searching for 20 students, ages 13 to 18, to take part in the 48-Hour Film Project. The 48-Hour Film Project provides students with a crash course in Super 8 filmmaking and the fundamentals of visual storytelling. Students will first learn the basics of camera operation and how film works, as well as receive professional tips on how to illustrate their story on film. Separated into four groups of three to five people each and a team leader, students will then have the chance to write, storyboard and shoot their own silent, three-minute Super 8 film in just two days!
The films will then premiere on the Friday, April 24. 13-18 Visit www.atlanticfilm.com/view to download an application form.
